We have been made aware of an attempted telephone scam.  A patient from another surgery has reported that he was contacted by telephone regarding his medication.  The caller was male with a slight/moderate Asian accent who said he was calling on behalf of two local practices.  He mentioned one of the medicines the patient was taking and gave some advice about healthy living.  The patient was told that his medication was OK but would work much better with something which "binds it all together".  Please note that this statement is completely false.  The caller said that this product cost £45 but could be bought on the day for a bargain £14.99.  Thankfully, the patient reported the incident to his Practice who have in turn have alerted the Police.

Please be aware and if you receive a similar call, please contact us immediately on 0118 986 2286.

Appointments are now being taken for Flu Vaccines.

A new Saturday Flu Clinic has just been added for 22nd November 2014 (8am - 12noon).
Call us on 0118 986 2286 to make your appointment.

The practice is currently undergoing some changes.

In time, we believe that many of these changes will improve your experience and care at the surgery.

There is a national shortage of doctors wanting to work in General practice and many GPs are leaving permanent jobs due to various factors.  We are actively seeking the right doctors who want to work in our practice and who are able to provide the right care for our local population.

We will continue to provide all of our usual services and we are confident that our patients will both support and help us improve further.

We are confident we will be back up to full strength within the next 2-3 months and we ask for your understanding until that time.
